Apostle Derek & Prophetess Jody Founders — N-Vizion Church

After a life of destruction, drug addiction, crime, and prison gangs, Apostle Derek had a radical encounter with Jesus Christ of Nazareth in 2010 at a maximum-security prison. After having been in solitary confinement for over 2 years at the time Jesus spoke to him — and the radical transformation started. He was born again. Making a promise to God that if He allowed him to walk out of the most dangerous prison in Tennessee at that time, he would do everything he could for Him. God called him on that promise and reminds him of it from time to time.

Apostle Derek's answer to the Call and being chosen to carry out God's will in the earth has led him to where he is today. This was the conception of N-Vizion Church. He got out of prison in 2013 following this Jesus that had changed his whole life. After relocating to a region and land he had never known, in trust that God would do what He said He would, it all began. After a year or so of friendship, prayer and persistence, a lady he had met while in ministry became his wife. May of 2016, Apostle Derek and Prophetess Jody were married and began ministry together.

In 2020, when the world was shutting down and doubt and despair had gripped the people, Apostle Derek withdrew from a denominational ministry program to sit in his living room with Prophetess Jody and 2 of their children — and little did they know, this would be the birth of what we know today as N-Vizion Church. God has placed on them the anointing to destroy the yoke of slavery to religion and traditions of man, to bring forth the Kingdom of our God and His Christ — the true revelation of what it’s all about: relationship with the Father and His will in the earth.

Apostle Derek’s heart is to see a body fully formed in Christ and walking in the fullness of the Godhead bodily, influencing every realm of governmental authority — sitting in the rightful seat that Jesus Christ of Nazareth has paid the price for us to sit. Today, if you have been called to us at N-Vizion Church, we are so honored. We make it our aim to do all we can to see you become all you can be for God — in life, here, now!

Jesus Christ of Nazareth is our King and Lord forever. We are anointed by His Holy Spirit, founded on the truth of His Holy Word, and led by the love of the Father that has been extended to us. Let’s begin this journey of discovery together as we team up to be all we can be in Christ, and allow Him to be all He desires through us.

Called to Do

N-Vizion Church’s goal is for you to BECOME God’s unique expression in this world. Our aim is to do all we can to see you become all you can be for God — in life, here, now!

Our mission is to Love the Lord our God with all our heart — Love people where they are, but too much to leave them there — walking with them through their walk with Christ and empowering them in their freedom and purpose … where many become one.

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. Values

Our Sunday services are built around five intentional values. Every gathering exists to see these five things happen in your life — because we believe showing up to church should change you.

Celebration

We believe church should be enjoyable and an environment of praise and expectation.

“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.’” — Psalm 122:1

Inspiration

We believe church is the place to encounter God’s supernatural presence.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” — 1 Corinthians 3:17

Preparation

We believe church should be a place where people learn how the Bible applies to their daily lives.

“To equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” — Ephesians 4:11–12

Salvation

We believe church should be a place where people can accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Romans 10:13

Demonstration

We believe church is the place to see God’s Kingdom word and power demonstrated freely.

Who We Are

The Eight R’s
of N-Vizion

Eight values that define how we live, worship, love, and reach our world — because Everybody Is Somebody, and we take that seriously.

Relationships

We Love God and Love People. It is the foundation of who we are. Jesus is King and we worship with all our might. We break the spirit of religion and help real people encounter the life-changing presence of Almighty God.

Revelation

We Love His Word. It is a light to our path and a lamp to our feet. We honor the Word with active reverence and respect — and the Kingdom is our pursuit. We have an undying hunger to seek His Kingdom first.

Relevance

We won’t marry our methods. We will marry the move of the Holy Spirit. Our faith is active — not just for the hereafter, but the here and now. Jesus came that we might have life and life more abundantly.

Reality

We won’t limit God to history — we will see Him manifest His glory here and now. We expect the full manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s presence and power. We live radical generosity, because He is worthy.

Radical

We will be and do things different from the usual and traditional ways. We are extremely passionate in our service to the Lord and lean in to God’s ability to change our existing views, habits, and conditions for His purpose.

Real

We will live with substance, so our lives are what we claim them to be in all areas. The “fake” will break off our lives. We are authentic — genuine in our faith, our love, what we are for and what we are against.

Reach

We try hard to achieve or succeed at what we set out to accomplish. We will reach to advance the Kingdom — for the lost, for the straggler, for every area of success that God has for us. It is His will that we prosper.

Revive

We will live with a burning passion and stay full of the Holy Spirit and His Word, allowing God to revive everyone and everything we come in contact with. We are committed to being active in our service to and for the Lord.
